An Oath to Tell and Seek the Truth: A Memoir of Hope and Healing
In the wake of the #MeToo movement, more and more women are finding the courage to speak out about their experiences of sexual assault and domestic violence. But for many survivors, the journey to healing is long and difficult. In her powerful and moving memoir, An Oath to Tell and Seek the Truth, author Jane Doe shares her own story of survival and recovery.
Jane Doe was just a teenager when she was first sexually assaulted. In the years that followed, she endured years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. She was finally able to escape her abuser when she was 25 years old, but the trauma of her past continued to haunt her.

An Interview with Jane Doe
I recently had the opportunity to interview Jane Doe about her memoir. Here is what she had to say:
What inspired you to write your memoir?
I wrote my memoir because I wanted to share my story with others who have experienced sexual assault and domestic violence. I wanted to let them know that they are not alone and that there is hope for healing.
What was the most difficult part of writing your memoir?
The most difficult part of writing my memoir was reliving the trauma of my past. But I knew that it was important to tell my story, so I pushed through the pain.
What do you hope readers will take away from your memoir?
I hope that readers will take away from my memoir a sense of hope and inspiration. I want them to know that even the most difficult experiences can be overcome.
